Trauma Informed Positive Behaviour Support

Children with severe and complex behaviour problems provide a unique challenge to teachers in school environments - with traditional behaviour management strategies often being unsuccessful. 

The Trauma Informed Positive Behaviour Support program is an evidence-based program for teachers that goes beyond punishment, consequences and exclusion of children. The program model focuses on practical strategies for supporting social-emotional development, shaping children's prosocial behaviour and preventing challenging behaviours.
